Design And Implementation Of Office Management System For The Secondary Department Of University

Management of secondary department (school, section) is an important part of university management. It is the subject of teaching and scientific research as well. In recent years, the higher educational institutions have been expanding and the number of secondary department (school, section) is gradually increasing, which enhance the complexity and difficulty of the administrative functions. At present, the levels of office information management for secondary department of university are different, some departments even applythe traditionally manual management mode, resulting in higher error rate and lower management efficiency. Therefore, it is important for colleges and universities to design a scientific office management system for secondary department. The office management system for secondary department can strengthen the level of management, and improve both working efficiency and quality.This paper, is focus on the problems in the office management, applying object-oriented thinking, system design, system development and implementation to the analysis, using the unified modeling language as a design tool. Based on the characteristics of systems and users, this research adopts the object-oriented thinking, and struts2+hibernate+spring development frame in implementation. The whole system is based on the BS structure, which realize the management of information and news, personnel management, meeting management, equipment and asset management, labor union activities and seal management, examination work of staff and retirees.For the requirements analysis and system design of office management for secondary department, this research adopts the Unified Modeling Language (UML). This paper analyzes the background of office management for secondary department, as well as the current status of the office management system for secondary department in universities. Then the research describes and analyzes the urgent problems occurredin the current office management system, trying to put forward the corresponding solutions to the problems.Through this management system, users can easily manage the information of personnel departments, activities of labor unions or logistics offices. It can also establish an unified management system of routine work, improve the efficiency and saveresources.
