With economic globalization and competition internationalization, the opponent one level higher, stronger competition in the times in the publishing industry at present. Focus on the competition, participate in the competition, improve competition ability, especially the core competitiveness, for publishing industry in our country, enterprise, is a new practice topic. More than 20 years of reform and opening up, China’s cultural industry, especially the book publishing industry continuous development and expansion, has made great achievements. However, behind the performance also exist a variety of problems, seriously hindered the development of the book publishing industry. The old idea of the variety of books publication led to structural imbalances, can not effectively meet the readers demand; the lag of marketing concept affects the reasonable pricing of books and effective propaganda, make the book can not successfully circulation to the reader’s hands; not personnel is not perfect to provide effective intellectual guarantee for the development of the publishing industry, In the economic globalization and the industrialization of culture background, Chinese publishing industry is facing the intense market competition situation. How to cultivate and enhance the core competitiveness of the Chinese publishing industry so as to promote China’s book publishing industry development issues have become a major issue of publishing management work.This paper studies the problem of development in the publishing industry in China from the perspective of cultural industry from five aspects.The first chapter is the introduction, analysis and elaboration of the background and significance of the study, a comprehensive analysis of the reality demand of China’s book publishing industry from the perspective of cultural industry and problems; and summarizes the research results at home and abroad in the following, and the content of the research method of this thesis is introduced. The second chapter of the property and function of book publishing industry in China from the perspective of cultural industry, and the related concept of a careful scientific definition, probes into the theory of its forming origin, several aspects of the impact and role of. The third chapter to the eighteen Communist Party of China since the ideology of cultural construction as the theory basis, from the angle of socialist construction, culture from the perspective of China’s publishing industry demands are fully explained, with Marx principle as the guiding position, to promote the prevention of national cultural safety consciousness, the maximum play a positive role in harmonious society the unique role of construction, and emphasizes the publishing industry in the ideological construction, shows its comprehensive development characteristics. The fourth chapter is divided into two parts to discuss the status of competition in the publishing industry in China from the perspective of cultural industry, and China’s publishing industry existence question and the reason. The fifth chapter as the end, according to the research to comb the development thought of Chinese publishing industry from the perspective of cultural industry analysis before the article, from the establishment of cultural publication industry concept, to improve the system of publishing industry, will be the basic way for Chinese publishing industry to add new ideas.
