On the other hand, online examination system provides a fair and impartial examination environment, the user can check information and the results of the examinations so timely. In addition, the system can use the on existing software and hardware-resources of school very well. Therefore, widespread use of examination system is an inevitable trend, its research is necessary.Through the analysis of test processes, use the B/S architecture, design on SharePoint platform. Meanwhile it is also using SQLServer database and related software technologies such as C#programming language. At the same time, I carry out a detailed study on the algorithm of generate test paper, I can prove the performance of the algorithm has definitely improved after test. Using UML to model for the system eventually makes the establishment of questions, automatic test paper, online test and analysis question achieve. Testing and practical application show the system is convenient, accurate and general.The thesis first discusses the significance and the main research content of online examination system. Study of the key technical, analysis of the traditional algorithmic and put forward own improvement. Then analyse system’s structure, summarize the main function of online examination system. On the basis of the examination system’ needs to determine the system’s main role, and for each role give the detailed descriptions and design every aspect. Second make concrete design goal for the system function, and useing the SharePoint platform achieve a admirable online examination system that set a variety of functions, such as intelligent test paper composition, online answer, automatic timing, automatically send and receive papers, analysis of test functions. Finally, pass the Web tests, load tests and give the overall evaluation.
