Network optimization is the important foundation of improvement of wireless network performance and improve the users’ perception of the work, which is a complex, highly technical and need to accumulate experience of work.This paper firstly introduces the basic concept of network optimization, process optimization and the existing, preliminary analysis and implementation methods for the optimization of the significance, introduced the domestic and foreign research present situation, introduced three kinds of network optimization method that uses generally at present, through the comparative analysis, discusses the characteristics of three kinds of optimization methods and the suitable situation, and according to the the actual needs, choose 1X/EVDO collaborative optimization method. Through the introduction of DO network in initial period optimization work based optimization, mainly introduces the idea, method of DO and 1X network collaborative optimization, introduces the process based DO network optimization work, content, method, and the key technologies are studied. Then introduced the system principle and network structure of EVDO network technology and CDMA-EVDO network in Dalian, optimized test and verify, through the analysis of network index and equipment parameters, combined with the actual test results, is used to adjust parameters optimization, and some key parameters were adjusted repeatedly verification, after the contrast test, the parameter adjustment results are analyzed, summarized some rules of network parameter setting, for EVDO rate optimization work puts forward effective guidance of experience. Through the collaborative optimization, aiming at Dalian EVDO network optimized verification, improve the related index of network rate by adjusting the parameters, and the parameter setting method is summarized. Finally, summarizes the innovation of this optimization attempt, verified by adjusting the DRCChannelGain, reverse PER these two parameters, to improve the feasibility of EVDO before the reverse RLP layer rate optimization method.
