Evdo Wireless Network Technology, Applications And Optimization

EVDO(Evolution Data only) is a standard of the third generation mobile communication technology that is prospect of broad application. The basic target of the optimization of wireless network is to maintain and improve network quality. Therefore, wireless network optimization is critical.This paper mainly delves into the fundamental principles of EVDO technical standard and the applications of networking, and also analyzes different kinds of optimization technique of typical cases. It is expected that the wireless network technicians can rapidly master the key principles of EVDO technical standard, networking architecture, key network optimization and so on, especially deal with the problems which emerged in the EVDO network system:network rate and background noise disturbance effectively and timely, as to build EVDO network as a high quality network.The paper covers:1. The paper introduces the evolution of EVDO technical standard, current development of network, key design ideas as well as the roles of important network elements and interfaces. Furthermore, it lucubrates on the key technology of EVDO network which strive to satisfy the high-speed data work.2.By combining with CDMA 1X network optimization, the paper analyzes and summarizes the fundamental process of EVDO network optimization, key measures, and optimization points and so on.3. The paper lucubrates on the optimization of data rate which are the key contents of EDVO network optimization. In the research of data rate optimization, it mainly analyzes the network cover, transmission resource of the base station, DRC application rate, equipment factors and so on. In the latter research, it detailed analyzes the solutions to the problems of weak cover, cross-district cover as well as pilot frequency pollution and so on. Furthermore, the problem of the power limitation of the RPT repeater in the EVDO network environment is researched.4. According to the different reasons, the paper respectively proposes the whole set of processing scheme to the most general problem, which mainly refers to the disturbance and background noise in the EVDO network.It is showed in practice that the quality of EVDO network is improved efficiently by the optimization strategies of parameters modulating, cover optimization disturbance management and so on.
