With the rapid development and popularization of the Internet, people areincreasingly demanding broadband networks.Development of large file transfer services,video conferencing, cloud technology,all increasing bandwidth requirements, as well asfiber costs continue to reduce the natural advantage in the fiber bandwidth, the growingpopularity of fiber access technologies together.The EPON (Ethernet Passive OpticalNetwork, Ethernet passive optical network) with high bandwidth, low cost, easy toupgrade and easy to use features such as excellent optical access networks are becomingthe best choice.In this paper, the maintenance and development work in the internship processinvolved in "EPON Network Management System" project background, combined withmyself assumed role in the project, completed based on reference to the related researchachievements and carefully studied the EPON network system related technologies.The paper discusses the overall system architecture EPON system uses B/Sstructure,entirely through the browser implemented user interface, part of the businesslogic implement in the front, but the main business logic on the server sideimplementation.Then a detailed analysis of several major functional requirements EPONNetwork Management System,They are: system management, configuration management,fault management and performance management;And a simple analysis of the relevantcontent SNMP protocol.On the basis of the design of a framework JSF+Spring+Hibernate framework based;Focuses on the use of technology to achieve the JSF pagepresentation layer;Business logic layer using Spring Framework;Database is designed fordata persistence module base on hibernate.Describes the integration between theindividual frames is achieved.Configuration functions of the system and do a simple testresults in line with expectations.Finally, the paper summarized the work of theimprovement program and made a preliminary outlook.
