2007is the first year of Barrage Video websites’appearance in China while it is in2014that this kind of website becomes popular. As an interaction form among a small crowd, Barrage Video website came to be recognized and accepted by mainstream video websites in China.The Barrage Video websites come in front of the public indeed. However, compared with mainstream culture, the fans of Barrage Video are still a small crowd and may be at the edge of mainstream culture forever. They are known to all, but they are not familiar to all. The author hope to present what the fans of Barrage Video are, why they are interested in bullet curtain and what attracts them through research.This article adopts the combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to examine the audience of Barrage Video websites in China. On the basis of understanding video websites in all aspects in China, it analyzes in detail through questionnaire, focus group interviews and depth interviews.The first part introduces the Barrage Video and the website in our country. There are two aspects in this section:one is to define the Barrage Video, and analyze its characteristic; the other is to describe the development of Barrage Video in different stages.The second part is about the Barrage Video audience for statistical description, summarizes, and makes analysis. Including the structural analysis, behavioral analysis, social cultural analysis and the use and satisfy the theory analysis. Through the data statistics, description, analysis, and drawing the basic feature of the audience, I hope to find out the reasons why the Barrage Video attracts the audience.The third part is to analyze the barrage video website’s influence on the audience, and the prediction of the future trend.
