The Design And Implementation For Office Automation System Colleges Oriented Knowledge Management

The software and hardware was conformed to the trend of high technology andstandard. After realizing the current demand, further system design and developmentwas done to lead the other schools in the next period of time. Under the premise of anexisting software and hardware resources, to confirm that all the functions of webpagecould be operated on the mainstream browers, we develop office automation system,which suit for the staff’s quality and office habits.The office automation system function rich and simple operation, a lot ofconvenience for the college staff is brought by using the system which is developedcontent to the requirement of the college. Compared with the traditional office, theoffice automation system can reduce the manpower and material resources, saves a lotof paper, reduces working time of finish the work, standards the work flow of links,avoids the document delay. The function of sharing information and data createrealize the sharing of resources and create a lot of benefits to the college.The system which this paper discussed is according to the paperless requirementof the Guidaojiaotong Polytechic Institute. The system has been designed afterinvestigate the need, the management specification, the document approval process ofthe college, the Computer operating ability of the teachers and theInformation equipment of our college, analysis the situation of the teaching work andthe management work and the Application of the campus network resources. Ourcollege has400teachers. so we set number of people who use the system is1000people. Through the discussing and summarizing the system, finally I complete thispaper.This paper discuss the process of development and the related technology, also elaborate the request of the software, the technical way of software used and thedesign of each function module. Among them, the design of user login module, newsannouncement module, network office module, personal information module, e-mailmodule achieves a detailed description.In order to further reduce the costs of the software system development andfuture operating, MySQL is adopted as the basic platform for it is open source, lowhardware requirements and the fast running speed. Combined with the actual useof the demand of the College, the main modules and basic functions has beendesigned and developed by using B/S framework and JAVA dynamic web pagetechnology. It can make the users no need to install any client software by using B/Sframework, which can also greatly reduces the client software’s maintenance andupgrading work. The system is Simple operation, easy to use. As the popularity of theInternet related technology, not strange to the browser and applicationof specialized training work can be removed. The design of this system can meet thedemand for OA in our college in all aspects, Our college toimprove office efficiency, is a relatively satisfied with the office automation system.The design of this OA system can meet demand in all aspects to our college. The workefficiency is improved by using the OA system. We can draw a conclusion that the OAsystem is satisfied.
