Research On Automatic Monitoring System For Wastewater Treatment Based On Fieldbus

In recent years, the economic of china developed rapidly,and the population is increased year by year, production and domestic sewage also increased. The city sewage treatment capacity growth rate lagged behind the actual need, which lead to the worsening of water environment. Part of the sewage treatment plant had no automatic monitoring system or realize the control function through PLC control station on site due to the lack of funds.The automation level is low and the energy consumption is high. Therefore, to realize the automatic control of sewage treatment has become an urgent requirement.Through the research and analysis on wastewater treatment process and referring to the domestic and foreign advanced experience, this paper designed an automatic monitoring system of sewage treatment based on PROFIBUS. The system using PROFIBUS to construct the monitoring network and set one general monitoring station and three sub control stations.The general control station using Kingview6.55as the development platform to design computer (PC) control system to display the real-time process. The system can realize real-time monitoring, alarm, management and other functions. Sub control station uses Siemens300series PLC, realizes the automatic control through configuration and programming. The upper monitor and the sub control station and intelligent instrument using PROFIBUS for communication. After preliminary testing, the system achieve the expected goal basically. The advantages of the system is reduced the cabling greatly by using PROFIBUS. The PLC realize the automatic control. The staff can use the PC monitoring system to monitor the whole plant, which greatly improve the sewage treatment automatic control level.
