Because of the Multi-Axis Servo Straightening Press Control System s internal high temperature produced by power consumption value of chips may lead to the invalidation of electronic component, the Control System Case has to meet the requirements of temperature control as the carrier of electronic components.In this paper, the structure of Control System Case was researched and designed, the thermal cooling solution was put forward, the temperature test was conducted and studied for the design needs of the Multi-Axis Servo Straightening Press Control System, the main work is as follows:(1) The principle for structure design of the system was put forward in the article and the structure design was completed in3D software for the design needs of the Multi-Axis Servo Control System which realized the requirements of miniaturization.(2) The thermal cooling design solution with forced air cooling and heat pipe cooling combination was put forward after the analysis for internal power consumption module, the design goals of case temperature was set and the source of heat was determined. The Flotherm program was used to analysis the temperature field and to evaluate thermal design scheme through the calculation results which would contribute to find the flaws of design scheme.(3) The objective optimization method and simulation analysis were combined to study the design of needle rib heat sink, the orthogonal experimental method was applied to optimize the design of the rectangular rib heat sink and the impact of various factors on temperature was analyzed to determine the optimum parameter which would further improve the thermal performance of the case.(4) The experimental research on the heat transfer performance of heat pipe was conducted, the experimental error and the whole cooling performance was analyzed.The theoretical and experimental results proved the feasibility of the thermal cooling solution and could meet the temperature requirement for the Multi Axis Servo Control System, which is of good reference value for the thermal design of control case.
