As a professional subway power supplier, it’s very critical for Shanghai Shentong Subway Electricity Supply Company to raise its efficiency in electricity network management, reliable equipment running management and reduce its operational cost with powerful support by advanced information techniques to wholly improve the traditional operation mode. For this objective the company decides to construct highly efficient and reliable equipment monitoring system which is discussed in the thesis.This system’s functions can be concluded as the following. At first it implements the power supply subsystem’s monitoring by means of real-time data processing. Secondly it implements the function for electrical equipment running management with status supervision, including supervision for the whole electrical grid and supervision for the grid equipments. For the whole grid control, the system works in the way of grid parameter management and grid circulating management. Another important function in demand analysis is the control for scattered electrical current and current removing control. This thesis discusses this system design and development from the view of software engineering. This software architecture is constructed with a multiple layer architecture built on equipment hardware units and bus control grids. The software can be divided to equipment control management layer, equipment basic status information management layer and equipment data management layer. The bottom layer of this system is constituted with equipment units which connected by wide band local area network.This system is developed based on the distributed control model managed by onsite LAN and concentrated server. It has good effect and runs stable now. The system test running shows that this software can significantly raise the scattering electricity current monitoring efficiency and safety.
