With the quick popularity of IOT (Internet of Things) technology, the wireless Ad hoc networksbecome the focus of current research scholars at home and abroad. Zigbee is a kind of Ad hocnetwork based low rate, low power consumption of wireless communication technology, has beenwidely applied to military, industrial control fields. Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a batterypowered, so energy consumption problem has become urgent problems in wireless Ad hoc networks.IEEE802.15.4only specifies the physical layer and MAC layer, the traditional wireless Ad hocrouting algorithm is not suitable for Zigbee, so the study of network layer routing algorithm iscurrently a major issue. This thesis improves routing algorithm of Zigbee network layer, first of all, the model ispresented based on actual energy node configure. Through NS-2.35simulation model of treetopology network, contrast ZBR and AODVjr algorithm in the various parameters of the networkperformance. Secondly, two kinds of energy saving algorithm are analyzed combined with thetraditional energy-saving algorithm in wireless networks, in view of the Zigbee network proposedthe energy balance of EA-ZBR routing algorithm. Considering minimum energy and minimum pathloss of RN+node, RN-node put forward improved Cluster-Tree algorithm avoid along the directionof the destination node to send routing requests (RREQ). Finally, combining with the actual energymodel nodes and EA-ZBR algorithm, through the NS-2.35test verifies the feasibility of EA-ZBRalgorithm repeatedly. Through ZBR with traditional routing algorithm performance simulationresults showed that, under the premise of guarantee submitted rate, save energy consumption hasachieved certain results, to avoid the node death too quickly and prolong the service life of theentire network.
