Research And Application Of Fingerprint Recognition Access Control System In Intelligent Communities

Since2000, the commercialization of residential area has been more widelyaccepted, and living in the district with property management has become a habit.With the development of intelligent building technology, the intelligent communityhas been intelligentialized gradually. The broad-bandwidth network, the accesscontrol system, and the parking management system have been applied in intelligentcommunities, and have provided better and safer living environment to the residents.However, the access control system in the intelligent community still use the unitdoor as the elementary unit, and provides simple user management to the residents.With the development of Internet technology, the growth of intelligent buildingnetwork management technology, and the popularization of fingerprint recognitiontechnology, the network intelligent access control system integrated withmultidisciplinary high technology has been introduced. Replacing the traditionalmechanic lock with fingerprint lock, the system enhance the safety of thecommunity by adopting network information management. Meanwhile, the systemcan do early warning and alarm by connecting to the Police Department online.This system consists of three parts: the fingerprint recognition unitcontroller, the central controller, and the upper computer management applicationsoftware, in which there are application softwares and the database.There are fivechapters in this paper: chapter1introduces the design source and idea of fingerprintrecognition system in intelligent communities; chapter2introduces the designscheme of fingerprint recognition access control system in intelligent communities;chapter3introduces the controller unit design and the network interface design ofthe fingerprint recognition system; chapter4introduces the design of the maincontroller in the access control system, the network interface design of the unit controller, chapter5introduces the application softwareinterface design of the upper machine management.The system has7functions:usermanagement, authority management, real-time monitoring, open logic management,query, network management, and alarm function.
