The main contents of the article are as follows:1,it analyzes the theory of fingerprint identification, introduces the application field and system application plan of the fingerprint identification at home and abroad, on these basis, build the system software and hardware platform, including hardware platform selection, bootstrap transplantation of software platform u-boot system, embedded Linux kernel configure transplantation and file system making. During the system design, we select the TQ2440 development board of the ARM processor and embedded Linux operating system, this makes the system has the advantages of low energy consumption, easy control, low cost and intelligence.2,it simulates the whole process of fingerprint identification, including fingerprint collecting algorithm, image pre-processing algorithm, image extracting algorithm, image matching algorithm. And the pre-processing algorithm includes fingerprint field computation, fingerprint image segmentation, fingerprint image equalization, fingerprint image intelligence enhancement, fingerprint image framework extrication, fingerprint image framework detailing.3,it realizes the fingerprint identification algorithm transplanting in embedded Linux.
