Firstly based on plenty of papers and technical reports on fingerprint matching and classification and some works on the theories on AFIS,this dissertation provides a set of research and theoretical issues dealing with the fingerprint recognition system. This paper designs and implements the fingerprint attendance system,using three parts,the first one is MCS-51 series microprocessor.The second one is the fingerprint identification module FDA02.The third one is the communication which is based on RS-485 interface standard between the servers and the main frame. This system is fully functional, low costs in design and maintenance and has the extremely widespread application prospect.Secondly, it introduced the overall design of the fingerprint entrance guard's system. The function of the core part of the fingerprint entrance guard's system is data processing.Also, this paper analyzed the attendance check stand-alone system, included:1. the overall design of the system: the design principles, the system function, the hardware block diagram.2. the details of modules: the rudiments and the scheme of single chip, power switch, DC-DC power supply chips, power-off circuit, identification module, expander circuit, liquid crystal display(LCD), voice prompt, I / O code interpretation circuit, lock control circuit.3. Saving and anti-jamming measures: a lot of measures of low power consumption and anti-jamming.Finally,according to chooses the plan and this system characteristic comples its software system,and separately to systems controlling software,the application software as well as the communication agreement has carried on a more detailed analysis and the explanation,and finally has produced the main module concrete realization on process.
