In2005, YouTube arose as the first video website in our world. After that thevideo websites begin to flourish in China. Rapidly, China enters into a video era. Withthe continuous improvement of Internet technology, the video websites in China arealso constantly innovated and developed. In these ten years, the video websitesprofoundly change individual lives in China. And people can actually receive theworldwide information and messages from the dynamic videos instead of the staticwords or pictures.Video websites closely relate to the TV technology on Internet. Under the rapiddevelopment of Internet TV market in2012, OTT begins to flourish in China. In May,2013, Le TV opens a brand new door for the OTT market. And Le TV is really a darkhorse under this development. At the same time, the OTT TV becomes a new focus.There are many speculations:“TV is dead”,“TV has been replaced or beenchallenged” or “TV can not be replaced”. And these speculations touch off a heatedcontroversy. We need to concern more about these research questions: Whatinnovations the domestic video sites to make in recent years, how to achieve a fasterdevelopment between traditional TV and video websites, how to achieve the maximalbenefits for the video website under this background of the OTT market and so on.This paper focuses on the above questions. Also, it attempts to deal with somecurrent issues facing by our video websites. By the way, as a typical representation ofvideo websites in China, Le TV can be utilized as a source of reference for both thefuture development of video website and the following researches, especially itsinnovative characteristic.
