With the coming of the full-service based on IP, the transmission network whichapplicable to IP service will play the important role in the development.The ParketTransmission Network conform to this trend,and will take one of the most important place.As the construction of the telecommunication main network which based on PTN,theaccess device for PTN play an more and more important role in the development ofnetwork construction and can not be ignored. The performance of the access device such asmanageable and controllable, stable and secure will make an serious influence on thetransmission network. On this background, this paper focus on the design of the ethernetaccess terminal that suit for PTN.Chapter1of this thesis, basing on the clearly understanding of access network thatbased on PTN and the technical requirements of the access terminal based on PTN,analysisthe application of the access terminal. Chapter2of this thesis, after studying the functionof the switch core chip, he control process core chipand working principle and applicationfeatures of the access terminal, the peripheral circuit of the switch core chip,thecommunication of the control process core chip with the other devices have beendesigned,and the circuit schematic diagram design has been completed. Chapter3of thisthesis, as that the access terminal is implicated in the very important client,so it is criticalto ensure the connectivity of the traffic.Therefore it is necessary to guarantee the reliabilityand stability of the network. To this we accomplished the design of EFM OAM functionwhich based on IEEE802.3ah on the access terminal. Chapter4of this thesis, then thearticle studies the structure and function of OAM sublayer based on IEEE802.3ah inparticularly,describes the implemation of OAM fuctions through the analysation of all sortsof OAMPDU structure.Realize the modular design. It then describes the contents andprinciples of LACP. Finally illustrate the use of finite state machine to realize the dynamiclink aggregation on the device. Chapter5of this thesis, in order to inhance the bandwidthflexibility of the equipment, realize the dynamic link aggregation on the access terminalbased on PTN. In testing,the function of dynamic link aggregation operates normally,and achieve the requirements of test.My work includes study IEEE802.3ah and IEEE802.1ad agreement, based on theprinciple of OAM and LACP analysis of the process of OAM and LACP module statemachine to promote,and code software OAM and LACP function module,then through theconfiguration core chip OAM and LACP function in hardware,and finally make OAM andLACP module on the test network by Ethernet packet capture analysis, to determinewhether the normal operation of the protocol module.
