Research And Implementation On Dtv Network Management And Alarming Module

With the rapid development of DTV industry, the penetration rate of DTV has been rising in China. DTV networks become larger and more complex than ever, so advanced managing mechanism and technologies are needed to maintain normal operation of DTV network.The paper analizes the DTV system and DTV network management which are practically used.The project designs modules based on SNMP network manager, especially focuses on the design and implementation of network topology monitoring function and device alarming function.The paper first analizes the value of the subject, introduces the technologies used in the project. Then it analizes the overall architecture of the network management system and designs the modules of the system. The network topology algorithms, the design of database, the graphing function of the topology and the design of device alarming function are the main parts. Finally, the network management system is proved reliable and efficient through testing and the paper gives suggestions for improvement.The design and implementation of this project have been completed and have passed the test.The network management system works well in the real network environment.
