With the rapid development of intelligent terminals and many kinds of mobile applications, mobile Internet has achieved great success. At the same time, along with that operators become transmission pipeline and signaling storm generates, how operators face the data tsunami which impact on mobile network and improve network load bearing capacity is still the focus of the study, especially the GPRS network which has the maximum amount of users.From the perspective of application behavior, we study the network behavior characteristicsofInstant Messaging, Sina Weibo and web browsing on Android mobile platform. Analysisthe appropriate data which are collected in different networking access nodes andunder the setting scenes, build a statistical model of network behavior and data traffic, providing a theoretical support for the optimization of mobile networks.Behavior of apps such as heartbeat, frequent short connection and small data traffic,etc., causing the abuse of wireless network resources. In order to study the network resource consumption of apps, we need quantize channel resource consumption. By analyzing the state that online and no active interactive of heartbeat behavior in thisthesis, we collect data on the terminal withdifferent scenes in GPRS network environment and combine theory that the heartbeat of always online apps occupy wireless channel resource to assess CCCH resource consumption and establish the appropriate analysis model. The conclusion that the heartbeat cycle length and types ofheartbeat maintained by clientisessential for CCCH resource consumption.At last, this thesis proposes optimization program that unified heartbeat push.Through programming simulation of heartbeat behavior in various scenarios, comparing uniform and non-uniform heartbeat push mechanism, verifying the superiority of the optimize mechanism and effectively reducing the impact on signaling which is caused by the high-frequency and low traffic heartbeat packets. It provides some basic research on improving the bearing capacity of data services in wireless network.
