Research And Application On Wireless Sensor Network Based On ZigBee Technology

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is considered as the most important technology in 21st century. It is the combination of communication technology, computer technology, sensor technology and network technology. Wireless sensor networks have great potential applications. It will have important scientific value and great practical value in many areas such as military communications, security monitoring, traffic management, home health care, environmental monitoring, emergency, remote control and so on. It can be expected that wireless sensor network will be everywhere in the future. At present, wireless sensor networks is in stage of development, its technology and applications are not so mature that it will need a rather long time to achieve the desired effect. The mainstream wireless sensor network protocols used for the design of it have Bluetooth, ZigBee, etc. ZigBee protocol is a new low-cost wireless sensor networks dedicated to the communication protocol, which can minimize energy in the network and can receive a large number of nodes at any time. Because its high faults tolerance, robustness, wireless sensor networks has become the first choice.This paper introduces the definition of wireless sensor networks, characteristics and key technologies in the first two chapters, and it also has a general introduction of the concept, the origin and characteristics of ZigBee technology, and has a more in-depth analysis about ZigBee technology architecture and the structure of ZigBee protocol wireless sensor network . It design two design sensor networks hardware platform based on ZigBee technology from the master RF module design and module in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter it will introduce the design of the wireless sensor network software based on ZigBee technology from the network topology, network algorithm. In Chapter five the wireless sensor network technology based on ZigBee will be used in mechanical and electrical specific monitoring system, builting a wireless hierarchical distributed monitoring network.
