Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is short-range wireless network consisting of densely deployed large number of sensor nodes with different specs and function. Each sensor node has ability of apperceiving, computing and communicating, they form a network through ad-hoc mode. The sensor node periodically collects environment data and sends processed data or information to sink. Sensor network can apperceive, inspect and gather the information of a given object or environment through wireless communication between each node.ZigBee technology, with the characters of low-complication, low-power, low-data-rate, and low-cost, is suitable to take on the task of building the wireless sensor networks. Thus ZigBee has an extremely important worth for research.This paper analyz the basic theory and ZigBee networking, combined with sensor technology currently available is presented for temperature and humidity monitoring system solutions for wireless sensor networks. The distributed network of this system is composed of sensor nodes which in a large warehouse, collecting information on environmental variables such as temperature and humidity. Each sensor nodes with LCD display, the center of each sensor node sending node receives the data and display, analysis and storage.We have completed detecting system about temperature and humidity, this system were used ATMega16L as the master part, CC2420as the transfer chip and LCD1286as the display screen. The system almost satisfies the requirement.
