With the rapid development of modern logistics service industry, how to provide detailed information and consulting service for customers in the process of delivery is becoming the development emphasis of logistics enterprise. Unique hand-held terminals are generally adopted in existing logistics management system for the collection and management of logistics information, but they are usually expensive and gather single kind of information while lacking interface of dealing with customer queries and delivery monitoring. With the popularity of smartphones, especially Android mobile phones, mobile application is becoming more and more extensive, which enables smart mobile terminals applied in logistics management.On this background, a technical solution of logistics management and supervision based on android terminals is proposed. The data processing function of android terminal is utilized to collect diverse logistics information, and its communication function is used to interact with server or clients, in which way can server or clients acquire logistics information as well as monitor delivery process.At first, a thorough study on the key technologies involved in logistics management and supervision system based on Android terminals has been made. And then the overall design goal of the system and function requirements of client and server is analyzed in details. After which, the overall framework of the system is designed and the plan of the operation process is made. On this basis, the design and implementation of logistics management and monitoring system based on Android terminals is completed, including the client software part and the server software part. In view of the client and the server, the overall structure framework and specific function module are designed, putting forward an extension technology plan suitable for this system according to the existing technologies. In that case, a software platform is set up with module function expansion ability. At the same time, aiming at the path optimization module involved in the system, a two-stage path allocation algorithm based on weighted k-means is designed, which help save the operation time by84.6%and shorten the total length of allocation path by75.1%compared with genetic algorithm. Finally, in this paper, the logistics management and monitoring system based on the Android terminals is tested, mainly including various information acquisition function of the client and server interaction function test. Tests have shown that information collection and interactive functions of logistics management and monitoring system based on the android terminals work correctly, achieving the design goal.The scheme supplements and develops the existing logistics management system in data acquisition and monitoring functions, with characteristics of low cost, high mobility, good real-time performance, and logistics information diversity.
