With the intensification of the competition in the automobile manufacturing industry,theutilisation of manufacturing execution system(MES) besed on the information technology becomesan important approach to improve production efficiency and producs quality for the automobilemanufacturers.While for the Automobile enterprise execution system,material pull system is animportant part.So how to design a material pull system rationally which can help to control theplant parts inventory and to achieve lean production becomes real issues for the automotive industryenterprises.On the background of the implementation of the MES system project of a auto company,thisarticle introduced the analysis,design and implementation of material pull system based on MESsystem.The article analyzes the application status of the manufacturing execution system and theproduction management features of the automobile manufacturing industry,then designs threematerial pull system of the automobile manufacturing enterprise,and offers detailed description ofthe business process.In the factory,it pulls the parts from the warehouse to the production linevia the Kanban,when the reserve reaches the inventory safety stock,it replenish through supplierdirectly.To the sequential parts,the sequential system sent them directly to the productionplant.To the system architecture design,intranet users are supposed to use client/server (C/S)schema and external network users with browser/server (B/S) schema.According to the system’soperational and functional requirements,it designs the functional modules for the system,and fordifferent functional modules,there are different user interfaces.The database design chooses theOracle database, it develops a unified table and field naming conventions in the designprocess.The system uses Eclipse custom extension development mode,the Java programminglanguage, the background database of the system operates through the Hibernate packageclass.Finally the realised system goes with system testing,including functional testing and stresstesting,test cases are written during the functional testing,stress tests are finished by theloadrunner software and the implementation of automation scripts.After implementation,the system not only improves the production efficiency,but also helpcompanies to control warehouse inventory legitimately,to save inventory funds....
