A Study On The IP RAN Technology And Its Applications

In recent years, in order to adapt the needs of network development, many equipmentmanufacturers, operators and standards organizations have proposed many kinds of solutions for thevarious packet transmission, including PTN and IPRAN schemes.The thesis is organized as follows: Firstly, there would be a brief introduction for the IPRANtechnology, and also a comparison to the PTN technology with more focusing on the former. For IPRAN technology introduces the theory and analysis, including MPLS and Layer3VPN technology;process established IPRAN session; major routing protocols: OSPF and ISIS.Secondly, after thepresentation and analysis of IPRAN technology related theories, the article described the application ofIPRAN technology in the model of existing networks. Finally, the thesis ended with the forecast of thistechnology.The study in this thesis is based on Huawei IPRAN transmission equipment. By analyzing the userneeds and characteristics of the equipment and so on in depth, the thesis presents a set of method forIPRAN networking. The problems met in actual practice in current network projects, the articleanalyzed on basis of principle, and solved the problems by realizing support for services such as voice,data, and broadband in the existing3G network, and will also support for a smooth transition to4Gnetwork in the future.
