In today’s world of economic globalization is developing rapidly, frequent exchanges and cooperation between in the region. In order to conform to the trend of The Times, to deal with challenges and opportunities brought by globalization, many provinces and cities in China in recent years to explore its own development path. With the development of regional economic development, regional image is emerging on the importance of regional development, regional image has become a new hotspot in the research of the government and scholars. Image is the development of soft power, is a kind of intangible assets, and regional image is the public understanding of a certain area as a whole and evaluation, it concerns the development of area economy and culture etc, is a reflection of regional reputation, reputation and influence. Good regional image not only has internal cohesion, and appealing to the good regional image construction of regional development is extremely important.Guangxi, located in the southwest of China, is the only border and coastal autonomous region in China. Here not only has the beautiful natural environment, bright and colorful ethnic culture, and has a unique geographical position, the advantage of these conditions are laid the foundation for the flourish development of Guangxi. Nowadays, one of the great development of western region of Guangxi and usher in new opportunities-open foreign cooperation between China and asean, but seize the opportunities of the development of the china-asean cooperation, build the southwest border areas and Guangxi coastal open development channel faces an unprecedented challenge, therefore, good construction of soft strength enhancement of the regional image to the current situation of the development of Guangxi is particularly important. At present, the region of Guangxi attaches great importance to the external image communication, positive from many aspects and angles to take effective measures, made some gratifying achievements, but also some deficiencies still needs to be improved.This paper will explore from the perspective of communication studies in Guangxi area image communication, divided into four parts, namely the spread of the Guangxi regional image elements, the current status of the spread of the Guangxi regional image and still has the deficiency, combined with the analysis of regional image communication in the case of foreign, further improve the image of the Guangxi regional transmission strategy is put forward.
