| Aging population is a global issue in21st century. As our nation is in the period ofrapidly aging population, the living situation of the elderly plays essential role in socialstability. For the media, the elderly is an important part of audience and principle parts,thus the elderly news gets more significant. Mass media has responsibility to expose thestatus quo of aging population and cause public notice. The author will research theaging population reports of China’s first newspaper, People’s Daily, by using newsnarratology theory and content analysis method, and try to find questions and givesuggestions. |
