| The main object of TV sports news reporting is sports competition. The OlympicGames are one of the most important and valuable sports competition in the world.The TV news reporting of Olympic Games largely represents the highest standards ofTV sports news reporting of a country.CCTV sports channel, the only Olympic TV broadcast rights holder in MainlandChina, has played an important role in the Olympic Games TV news reporting. Withthe rapid change in the development of science and technology,the ways and means ofTV reports need to be updated accordingly. The author found, based on the workexperience, there are certain weak points in the current sports news programproduction process of the CCTV’s sport channel. In the Olympic Games TV newsreporting, issues in the production process may lead to various kind of mistakes,andpotentialloopholes for TV news production and broadcasting.Based on the analysis of the current status of how CCTV sports news are beingmade,combined with experiences and methodologies of foreign sports media bestpractices, the "War Room" plan was suggested as an innovative update to the existingprocess under the circumstances that both hard-and softwares are ready. According tothe processdesign, there will be eleven different modules for the TV sports news “WarRoom” plan, each with different functions. Through a dynamic combination of theeleven modules, a "War Room" operation flow chart of the TV sports news can bebuilt up. According to the specific needs of TV sports news’ production and broadcast,this study made a detailed analysis on the design of both the separated operatins of theindividual modules, and the combined operation of all eleven modules as the TVsports news "War Room".The TV sports news "War Room" concept is an idealized solution based on theauthor’s theoretical study and practical work experience. If there is any opportunity toimplement this program in the TV sports news and the Olympic Games TV reportinginto reality in the future, it will take continuous improvement and may take the levelof TV sports news production new heights. |
