Design And Implementation Of Materials Comprehensive Management And Scheduling System Based On Epcglobal Framework

With the rapid development of information technology and the internet of things, e-commerce has become an indispensable part of people’s life. At the same time, the logistics industry has been taken into a higher point. However, in the current logistics management system, there are serval problems. First, many local material subsystems lack of unified interface to access the main material management system. Secondly, the current logistics management system could not finish multi storage resource allocation well. Finally, the current material management system could not track during the whole process of logistics. The EPCglobal framework is a standard frame raised by the EAN International GS1. This standard can help to build a supply chair system, realize the management of mass goods resources in the global scope. This cold solve the problem above.This thesis carries on the investigation and Analysis on the current material dispatching system. Using the EPCglobal frame, we design and implement a unified platform of material management. This paper introduces the design and implementation of Materials management and scheduling system. This system uses the EPCglobal framework and Google Web toolkit to realize the functions. The main functions are the management of local material subsystems, the material searching, the material scheduling, the logistics tracking and so on. After the development, we run the functional testing and performance testing on the system accessed to the unified platform of material management.There are several advantages of this platform. It can manage the local material subsystems easily, and it is simple accessed. It can response quickly to the scheduling, and it could track the whole process of logistics in real-time. This system improves the work efficiency of material management and scheduling, and it is the trend of the future of material management and scheduling systems.
