Design Of The Telemedicine Service Terminal For Common Chronic Diseases

As people’s living standards rise, some of the common chronic diseases become the major factors that affect the health of the people. According to the feature of these diseases and the requirements of the treatment process of these diseases, this article introduces a telemedicine service terminal for home and community use.This service terminal can measure multiple medical parameters, including the blood pressure, electrocardiography, blood glucose and the urine routine, which meets the requirements of the measurement of the medical parameters that are useful in the process of treating these chronic diseases. The design of this terminal is based on the modularization in such a way that the measurement of the medical parameters is completed in the function modules and the host machine manages all the function modules. The computer in this system is a comprehensive operating platform which can provide more functions.This article introduces the design of this service terminal from both the hardware and software aspects, including the circuit design of the host machine, design of four function modules, device driver design and the application program development. During the hardware design, the host machine implements the general purpose interfaces of the function modules to facilitate the upgrade and maintenance of system. In the software design, the object-oriented method and ideas of information fusion are used. Finally, the principle prototype is built, online-debugging is completed and four kinds of medical parameters are measured.
