Video monitoring is an important part of monitoring field, which has been widely used ineducation, government, entertainment, home security and other fields.With the continuousdevelopment of embedded technology and wireless communication technology, and Androidmarket share increased significantly. Using Android mobile terminal equipment for wirelessreal-time video monitoring has become a new hotspot in the field of monitoring.In this paper,combining the advantages of the wireless network and H.264coding and full consideration of theusers of the system real-time requirements,the use of RTP/RTCP protocol for real-timetransmission, designed and implemented real-time video monitoring system.The main work doneas follows:⑴Analysis of the video monitoring system application background, overview of currentresearch and development of Android and wireless networks,a more in-depth study of thetransmission of video streaming and video codecs and implementation of relevant theories. Andthe use of C/S design mode,Through the wireless network connect to mobile clients and theserver, and its modular realization.⑵Since the encoding is one of factors that affect storage, a detailed comparison of thecommon JPEG, MPEG-4and H.264encoding, choose the required minimum bandwidth andstorage of H.264video coding standard. Based on the real-time transmission consider adoptingRTP/UDP/IP transmission, to analyze the structure of its stream transmission, proposed themethod of in the package does not exceed the network MTU premise.Implementation ofstreaming video data network transmission the transmission of video data using RTP/RTCPprotocol, and according to the characteristics of the mobile terminal to optimize its restructuring,in addition to some unnecessary features.⑶To achieve real-time player of H.264video stream on the Android platform, This paperstudies the open source VLC player decodes way,through the H.264codec for ffmpeg compilecutting, use JNI technology tcalled local library. paper adds Universal verification, in differentnetwork (WLAN/mobile network) environment, validate implement multiple mobile terminalsfor a monitoring point to point at the same time, in order to achieve real-time mobile monitoringdifferent monitoring sites.
