With rapidly developing economy, the quantity and deal of cars are gradually increasing.Here comes the problem that the traffic jam is also increasing,and it make a lot of trouble on going out. And this phenomenon gradually spreads from several metropolises to many other second-tier cities or the third-tier cities. So it is very important to have a method that can real-time monitor the road information without knowing it. Users can choose a compatible unblocked road conveniently by this kind of method.The thesis raises a real supervisory of road information software based on the technology of Wireless Network/GPS and Google Maps API, by using the embedded Android operating system as mobile client, detailed designs and realizes all the function modules of the whole system software. When going out, you can use the Android client to obtain the name of the street where you are by Wireless communication network or GPS, and the client send these information to the servers. The servers analysis and classify the received information and compute a certain time the average speed of the car on every streets during the meantime, and then give the speed information back to the cell phone client.The client gives a single road different colour layer according to its average speed. Users can decide whether the road is busy or not by watching the colour of the layer,and the street layer’s colour is based on the changing speed.This software can let users get the road information swiftly and accurately, and realize the function of GPS, it has important meaning to relief the traffic jam trouble when people going out.
