Currently, the manufacturing technology of high voltage DC power supply including traditional power frequency and switching power supply technology. The traditional power frequency power supply is limited in terms of size, weight and efficiency by a certain. While the high voltage switching power supply is composed of a number of devices and independent circuit, there are optimization space in the key circuit. This will cause obstacles to debugging and maintenance of the power supply. Therefore, thought of modularization design and optimization measures are put forward in this paper.This paper around the modularization design of high voltage switching power supply as the main line, and conduct on the overall design of the power, including a voltage regulator module, inverter module, boost module and digital display module. And then carry out topological structure research and frequency selection.Based on the overall design, firstly the circuit design principles and production of main circuit, driver circuit, protection circuit and digital display circuit was elaborated, laiding a solid foundation for the power research of technology and hardware circuit. Then carry out the design and experimental study of high frequency high voltage transformer, focusing on solving the technical problems of high voltage insulation, waveform distortion, transmission efficiency and electromagnetic compatibility. Meanwhile, the simulation and optimization to the voltage doubler rectifier circuit was achieved. Finally, modular manufacturing of the high voltage switching power supply and the prototype testing was completed.
