Design, Development And Application Of Textile Production Planning System Based On Order

With the rapid development of information technology, market competition is increasingly fierce. Textile industry as a traditional industry, the value-added content of product is low, and the profit space is limited, so its scale effect has been played out. To win in the fierce competition, Textile industry should keep up with the pace of informationization. The medium and small-scale textile enterprise which is under the production mode of small batch and multi-variety is short of core competence, especially need to use information technology for optimal management to achieve long-term development.In this paper, a new production planning system for China Resources Textiles (Hefei) Co.Ltd is developed based on its order driven business process, according to its production status and management demands. The function of order review and tracking, automatic production scheduling, machine monitoring and scheduling, production dynamic tracking and control and so on, are included in the system, and the management level of the enterprise is greatly improved by it.Firstly, production status, business processes and production data forms of China Resources Textiles (Hefei) Co.Ltd are analyzed to determine development tasks and goals, and model of the system are established by UML modeling tool. Then, logical flow of the system is designed based on the process of order review and order management, and the system database is designed. Next, the methods of system process control, production planning and scheduling, machine real-time monitoring, priority design and algorithm study for order and machine scheduling, and other key problems for the system development are described, meanwhile, the key technology such as report forms import or export is introduced. Finally, after all the problems are figured out, the modules of the system are illustrated and tested for normal operation to meet demands of the enterprise.The system discussed in this paper works well in the enterprise. It not only meets the demands of production planning and scheduling for the enterprise but also improves the information level and core competence of the enterprise. Enterprise information management for textile industry is proved to be feasibility and necessity.
