It is great significance to ensuring the reliability and accuracy of thecalculated flood for the construction of Water and Hydropower Projects.We determined the content and breaking point of this paper through comparing andanalysis the domestic and international’s development status of design flood calculation insmall watershed, Special introducing the current status of research and development in thedesign flood calculation of small watershed software in Jiangxi Province. this paperachieve the storm flood parameter query design automation and design flood calculation inprogramming of small watershed, combining ArcGIS, ArcGIS Engine and VB.netprogramming technique with the actual characteristics of the design flood calculation ofsmall watershed in Jiangxi Province. We designed a flood calculation software system tosuit Jiangxi Province. The functions and features of the software system can be rapid andaccurate automatic query each parameter, quickly calculating the design flood hydrographand drawing flood hydrograph.The main contents and results of this paper have the following four aspects:1, Analysis and summary the theoretical research and software development aspectsprogress of the design flood calculation;2, Establishment of a storm flood parameter query database by Use ArcGIS software,and through VB.net programming platform use program language to implement automaticquery storm flood parameters;3, Solved the key issues of design flood calculation process.Made a special and effectivesolution to check the value of KP and point surface coefficient;4, Made software for design flood calculation in small catchment contains the instantaneousunit hydrograph method and the inference formula method. |
