| The research content is proposed according to the bottom packing project of disc-carving machine of China Hualu Panasonic Electronic Information Co.. Ltd. The production process of the original bottom-packing method of disc-carving machine is through a simple human realization. In response to the company calling of the intelligent and automation, improving the production efficiency and quality of the bottoms, the bottom packing automation systems of disc-carving machine are researched and presented based on PLC.Firstly, based on the analysis of automation technology’s research status at home and abroad, this thesis determines the general scheme of bottom packing automation systems. As a control unit and actuator, the Panasonic FPO series PLC and SMC pneumatic components are used by comparison of the programmable logic controller (PLC) and the general purpose computer, relay control systems and others, the hardware environment and software programs of the automatic transmission system are designed. Secondly the Pro-face GP series touch screen of Japan DIGITAL Co., Ltd is used as the touch screen controls of the automatic transmission system. In order to modify the program more easily, and switch to a different type of disc-carving machine’s bottom production, the corresponding control procedures of the touch screen are prepared and optimized. The gripping, handling and packing of the bottom are done by the FANUC Robotics. At last, the German Engelhardt CNC system is used to design the stacker unit, and achieve the integrated production of disc-carving machine bottom packing.The experiment on a real machine shows that it can rapidly and effectively resolve the problems of the labor costs reduced and production automated by utilizing PLC, and also resolves the problems and deficiencies of the original production of the disc-carving machine bottom packing, realize the packing capabilities of the burner plate production based on control. This improves the efficiency and quality of the production, brings the considerable economic benefits, and enhances market competitive for enterprises. |
