Touch Screen is an interactive input device. Compared with the mouse and keyboard, the touch screen is simple, flexible, and has many other advantages which will help improve the user's activity and widely-used. In recent years, with the development of computer technology, computer's input change from the keyboard and the mouse input, to the touch input. The evolution process can be divided into several stages which are from the professional to the universal. I believe that in the future, the touch screen technology will let more non-professional users conveniently use the computer. By using this technology, users could touch icons or texts on the screen simply with a finger or stylus, which can achieve the operation of the computer. It makes the machine interaction more direct. With the better support of Windows 7 for touch screen, and the Apple's iPhone swept the world, the touch screen plays a very important role in our daily lives and enriches our human-computer interaction. It's believed that we can enjoy the fun of clicking and the new way of operating the computer in the near future. You can find "easy-touch" everywhere in our daily lives. However, the vast majority of existing touch-interactive technologies have some drawbacks:These technologies depend on hardware. They need the support of specific physical material, which will limit their applications. Currently in the market there are many types of touch screens:infrared, resistive, surface acoustic wave, capacitive and so on. These technologies that used in the touch screen especially in the big screen will cost much, limit their development and course many other problems. Ordinary users can not accept these problems. Technology and market need a new touch-interactive method urgently. Therefore, we propose an implementation method of touch screen system which is based on image recognition. This method can overcome the limitations of material factors, and keep the advantages of convenience and visual performance. In this paper, the large touch-screen system is based on image recognition technology. This implementation scheme cost little, and develops easily, especially at large-scale application of human-computer interaction sites. Under this condition it can provide a good user experience and have great potential applications in social services. It has the obvious value for commercial and broad prospects. This paper has following main research and innovations:First we analyze the touch-screen technology. Considering the current general-used technology, the prospect of application, their limitations, and so many other factors, we propose the method of achieving the touch screen system based on image recognition technology. With the help of theoretical knowledge of image recognition, and extensive reference to the existing image recognition technologies home and abroad, I integrated the use of image recognition technology to achieve the overall project of the system, normalize the development process of this system, and ensure the effectiveness and scientificalness. Then we study and propose an effect algorithm for moving target detection and tracking, and combined with the method of identifying and locating the touch point that is proposed by this paper. Namely, using two screen capture devices and basing on the idea of the two straight lines intersecting which makes one point, we design and implement the large touch-screen system based on image recognition. The system is mainly divided into four modules:video capture module, image processing module, touch point identification and location module, the mouse analog module. And the implementation and functionality of each module is introduced in detail. Finally, the lack of the system and what to improve are discussed. The next step of the work is also summed deeply.
