Come to21th century, with the development of the science and technology into the rapid development channel, and the globalization of the economy deepening, the enterprises are facing more and more competition which come from external environment and issues which come from internal management that bring new problems and challenges to enterprise managers. A good production and storage control system can effectively control the inventory levels to reduce inventory cost, but can also reduce unnecessary capital investment, shorten production cycles, improve customer service levels.The production-inventory control system is a complex nonlinear system with much fuzzy information. The traditional production-inventory control strategies are clear control strategies. Because the nonlinear system is difficult to establish a precise mathematical model, the traditional production-inventory control strategies are powerless in dealing with complex system or system which is difficult to accurately describe. Fuzzy control methods do not rely on the mathematical models and has strong robustness. Fuzzy control methods do not need to establish a precise mathematical model. We will be able to achieve.good control effect with some experience and knowledge. So dealing the production-inventory control system with the fuzzy control method is a new direction and no doubt has positive significance.In this paper, based on the review and introduction of production-inventory control theory, fuzzy control theory and assembly line, fuzzy control theory and simulation are used to control the material of the assembly line access system with two methods. The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly, for a mixed assembly line case, we describe the assembly line in detail.Secondly, we design two fuzzy control method to control the production and inventory of the assembly line with equipment failure (the time to repair is fixed). The first method considers the impact of the inventory and demand to the system. The second only consider the impact of inventory to the system. After simulation of the iThink software, the simulation data verify them effective. Comparing and analyzing the simulation data, we can see that the results show that the first method is better than the second method, that is, lower inventory levels, and in the case of large changes of demand, the stability of the first method is stronger.Moreover, due to controlling production and inventory of the system with equipment failure and repair time random, we still use the dual-use methods. After simulation of the iThink software and comparing the simulation data, the result is similar to the result of system with repair time fixed.Finally, comparing the result of the system with repair time fixed and the system with repair time random, the results show that the inventory levels of the system with repair time fixed are lower.
