The fuzzy control as a branch of intelligent control has been extensively applied in many practical control problems in recent years, especially for those complicated industrial control process and some systems which have strong nonlinearity, uncertainty and even out of which exact mathematical models can't be formulated, it can conduct control effectively and precisely. With the continuous development of PLC technology, more and more PLC can provide advanced programming suitable for fuzzy control, which has solved the problem that simple PID control has difficulty in meeting the control requirement. The fuzzy control shows its strong advantage. So the study of fuzzy control being embedded in PLC is one current focus. The paper mainly researches the fuzzy control system of soap production line, which is rare in domestic.At first the paper summarizes the development course of control theory on the basis of predecessors' researches and the present research conditions and future developing direction of fuzzy control, secondly discusses the mathematical base of fuzzy control, mainly analyses the realization of fuzzy controller based on PLC, and gives the fuzzy control algorithm based on S7-200 PLC, it introduces subsequently the Century Star configuration system based S7-200 PLC, and gives the configuration environment and practical realization methods of control system. On the basis of this studying, mainly studies on fuzzy control algorithm in advanced control strategy and design of configuration environment, combined with the characteristics of S7-200 PLC, described the design steps of fuzzy controller based on PLC and the design the Century Star configuration system in detail. At last, I carry on the general system debugging of the soap production line combined with field work environment and the operation experience of operators, and verifies the effectiveness and reliability of this fuzzy control system and configuration control environment.By the paper research work, that proves the feasibility of fuzzy control strategy based on PLC in the soap production line. Because of the widely application of PLC in automatic control field in china, the fuzzy controller based on PLC has the very wide development prospects.
