Design And Implementation Of Production Planning And Scheduling System For Small And Medium Enterprises

The world economy has lived through the most difficult period, and shows the evidence of resuscitation. But Chinese small and medium enterprises are down on their uppers that have never been facing more serious competition since the whole economy goes slower and the international demand gets weak. So, it has been the only way for manufacturing to boost the all-around application of messages and technologies and enhance the management of enterprises’resources in order to survive and develop. In China, small and medium enterprises are the main body of manufacturing, and they have many different characteristics and problems that exist in large ones because of their large amount and various management models. The application of master production scheduling and scheduling system in small and medium enterprises is mainly studied in this thesis.On the basis of the domestic and overseas researching actuality and its developing trend about production scheduling and scheduling methods, through the analysis of MRPII/ERP, the small and medium enterprises’special desire to production schedule arrangement during the establishment of production model is deeply analyzed in this thesis. A scheduling method is given which suits small and medium enterprises, and the application of depth first algorithm and breadth first algorithm under the circumstance of finite capacity is discussed. Following the messages of order form, safety storage, and production forecast, a master production scheduling is performed in the master production scheduling and scheduling system on the basis of cursory capacity schedule, and the materials requirements planning is realized through applying the depth first algorithm.The main productions of this thesis are as follows:According to the characteristics of small and medium enterprises and various problems on information-based, the basic theory of MRPII/ERP, the relative terms, and concepts about master production schedule and materials requirements planning are fully talked about. The domestic and overseas researching actuality and its developing trend are reviewed.The finite arrangement methods and algorithms are deeply analyzed, and the view that the later arrangement method and depth first algorithm suit the small and medium enterprises is pointed out through comparison. The demand and primary design of the master production schedule and arrangement system is given in detail, mainly including the number origin, performance and judgment method of master production schedule, and the performance method, computing process and realizing method of materials requirements planning. And then the view that adopting the all-rearrangement model to arrange the materials requirements planning is argued.The system is implemented based on the Developing Software-PowerBuilder9.0and the SQL Server2000databases. The design and realizing process of master production scheduling and scheduling system is accounted detailed.
