At present, stereo garage is the most convenient way to park vehicles. With thedevelopment of national economy and improvement of people’s living standard, thenumber of cars increases constantly in cities. Parking has become more and moreserious problem in large and medium scale cities in China. The emergence of stereogarage easily solves this problem, because the stereo garage can make full use of limitedland resources and give full play to the space, which maximizes the parking. It hasalready become an important way to solve the parking difficulty and relieve the strain ofurban land resources. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop a stereo garagewhich has low cost, high stability and high degree of automation.Firstly, this paper does research on each part of the lifting and transferring parkingequipment, including steel structure, car loading board, drive system, control system,security measures, etc.. Secondly, the paper makes an overall control scheme for thesystem according to the structure of the lifting and transferring parking equipment, thenit innovatively proposes an embedded development method. S3C2440is used as thecore controller for the system based on ARM920; DSP chip TMS320F28335from TIcompany is applied as subcontroller for the system. Thirdly, the paper designs thehardware structure of system, including data acquisition module, data memory module,communication module, motor selection, etc.. In order to improve access efficiency ofthe lifting and transferring parking equipment, the system uses vector control to adjustthe speed of lifting motor. The paper gives detailed introduction of speed controlscheme, which achieves good effect of speed control. In terms of software design ofcontrol system, C programming language is used in system, and it uses μC/OS-IIreal-time operating system which is portable and has open source code and small kernel.The use of μC/GUI can complete the human-computer interface, and its design aims atuser tasks, including data collection, parking and pick-up. In addition, Visual Studio isapplied to complete the development of PC monitoring software.During the course of experiment,system is flexible structure, easy maintenanceand it uses the modular design in hardware. In the aspect of software, with u C/OS-II real-time operating system as the development platform, all of these realize theefficiency of three-dimensional garage.
