Most of the report are about the Xia Junfeng and his family, on the other said, the victims, the city managements, have lost their voice in the public opinion field, the public opinion become partial. This paper considers that the reason of partial is the news framing of Xia Junfeng and the city managements’"bed man" media image in public’s opinion."Frame Theory" is from psychology and sociology. In1974, Goffman apply the "Frame Theory" into journalism and communication. In practice, the journalist and media will give a frame to help reader consider the world. Under the help of media frame, reader will understand the news quickly, but and the same time, stereotype will bore. The media frame just like a spotlight light up the news fact, the lighting part will be more clear, bur the unlighted part will be hide in the shadow. Maybe most of us have no idea about he frame, but we are under the effect of media frame all the time.Sine the2010, the first year of microblog, the time of "everybody has microphone" is come, the desire of citizens’ opinion voice are break out,140words’ debris information and the fractured reading ways make the effect of frame become more obvious, the stereotype from frame makes the phenomena of "comment right now" everywhere. This paper believe, in the Xia Junfeng case, the report about city managements’violence enforcement in recent years makes city managements become "bad man" in public opinion rather than the media put more attention to Xia Junfeng. City managements are "bad man" and the media attention focus on Xia Junfeng makes Xia Junfeng to a "hero of violence opposing", and the city managements become "bandits bully", the public opinion become partial.At present, Chinese society is on an important stage of developing, so that the contradictions of each class are growingly highlighted. Main opinions’ guiding in a right way is one of the ways to alleviate the social disparities. To guide the main opinions in a right way and to build up appropriate frame of medium are necessary, especially in the news about stability of the society. Building up the frame of medium well is the same thing to handling the spotlight well to lighten the active and helpful part of the society. In addition, to handle the spotlight well, just traditional medium or new medium is not enough. Both of them should work along to improve the pressmen’s professional quality and the consciousness of general situation. Complete management system of new medium and the intensive communication between traditional medium and new medium build up a great environment of public opinion for guiding main thought and building a harmonious society.This paper, which is based on frame theory, discusses the reason why the opinion just on one side in Xia Junfeng’s case, and sets this case as an example to introspect some immature actions of Chinese Medium on dealing with some high-profile incidents, and to learn how Chinese Medium have an orderly development. Hope this paper can play an important role in learning medium frame and leading the way how to do the main opinion well at present and in the future. |
