The paper consists of four parts:Firstly, this paper introduces the development trend of pon technology and status ofoptical modules in home and abroad, briefly describes the correlative standard of10GEPON encapsulation and pins definition of OLT optical module.Secondly, this paper expatiates designing overall scheme and the selecting of optical device of OLT optical module. Then, it works up three parts such as10G EML laser,1.25GDFB laser and10G detector theory design.Third, this paper expatiates the circuit design of10G EPON symmetric OLT opticalmodule. It works three parts such as transmitting circuit part, receiving circuit part andmonitor circuit part.At last, it is approved that the performance of the OLT optical module can meet theinternational standard by experiment and the full thesis is summarized.
