With the development of wireless communication technology, the fourth generation communication technology like LTE and LTE-A has become a hot area of research for recent years. Coordinated multi-points (CoMP) transmission technology is one of the key enhanced techniques in LTE-A system, which can share the channel and data information and effectively reduce the interference in multiple cells, improve the throughput of users in the edge of cells, enlarge the coverage of high data rate, so as to optimize the whole system performance.Allocation of resources in the specific situation is mainly researched in this paper, as the important content in the wireless resource management, for higher throughput, higher transmission rate and lower bit error in mobile communication is of great importance.In this paper, we choose joint processing as the research background, and the scheduling algorithm of single cell can’t meet the demand of the scene, so a scheduling algorithm based on the resource is mainly investigated. In this algorithm, users in the network are classified firstly and then we combine the fixed resources division and flexible scheduling. Starting from each resource block, resources can be allocated based on the appropriate way. System level simulation platform is set up to validate the algorithm and the results turn out the effectiveness of the algorithm. Then the application of ant colony algorithm in the allocation of resources is researched, using the advantage of ant colony algorithm in searching the optimal solution, we can optimize system throughput while reducing system power. Under the condition of different iterations and user number, we compare the advantages and disadvantages of ant colony algorithm based on the simulation.
