To be in a position of strength in the IMT-advanced stage and in the future market competition,3GPP group started LTE-Advanced project in 2008. Compared with LTE system, LTE-A system has a higher performance requirement. Therefore, a lot of new technologies including Coordinated Multi-Point Transmission/Reception(CoMP) are proposed. For the present, the research of CoMP is about the cooperative cell selection, the resource allocation, the network deployment of CoMP system, the design of signaling and so on. What this subject mainly researches is the resource allocation techology. At the same time, this subject designs and implements a CoMP simulation platform to test and verify the accuracy of resource allocation methods proposed in this subject. The design and implemetation of CoMP simulation platform is based on a LTE simulation platform which is designed by Vienna University of Science and Technology. The LTE simulation platform uses "off-line" method to process signal. This subject implements incoherence transmission by improving the "off-line" method. To let the program be modularized, maintained and extended easily, this subject uses strategy pattern with simple factory pattern and simple factory pattern to design the cell-edge user determination process, cooperative cell selection process and resource allocation process for the CoMP simulation platform. Except for those modification, the CoMP simulation platform also improves the topological structure of LTE simulation platform and a animated drawing function is added. In CoMP system, different cooperative cell selection methods have different influence on the design of resource allocation method. After carefully analysing the influence, especially the influence of cooperative cell selection method based on UE-centric, this subject proposes a modified round robin scheduling scheme. This scheduling scheme can solve the resource conflict and the residual resources reallocation problems and can improve the cell-edge user spertrum efficiency. However, the modified round robin scheduling scheme does not take the deadlock problem and time delay of X2 interface into consideration. Hence, this subject proposes another new resource allocation method based on UE-centric cell selection method. The new method solves the problems mentioned above by partitioning the resource into several non-intersect parts. In addition, according to the channel quality, this subject proposes a third resource allocation algorithm aiming at cell spectrum efficiency. According to that algorithm, whether a resource can be used for CoMP is determined by the channel quality and when the quality of all the channels of a cell is bad, the cell spectrum efficiency can be greatly improved. At last, the accuracy of all the resource allocation methods proposed in this subject is tested and verified by the CoMP simulation platform.
