| Based on the content analysis of news reports on PM2.5bypeople.com.cn and ifeng.com from September1st2012to May31st2013, this paper focuses on the framework of environmental Newsreports on network. The paper sorts out the similarities anddifferences of frames by comparing the news reports ofpeople.com.cn and ifeng.com. Under the experience-basedassumption that the news reports framework of people.com.cnis authority-orientated and that of ifeng.com is run in aprofit-targeted way, this paper is to find notable differencesbetween the two websites and to give vivid clues on theframework of environmental News reports on web.By doing so, this paper also provides us a uniqueperspective from which we can look into the framework ofenvironmental news reports on web. |
