The Study On The Beijing, Tianjin And Hebei’s Metropolitan Newspapers Reports Of Haze

With the development of the industrialization process, China’s environmental problemshave become increasingly prominent, the environmental situation is more serious. Early January2013, shrouded in fog and haze of the eastern most areas, making the original listeningsomewhat unfamiliar words-"haze", the incident became the focus of social attention.As a public resource, the media role in the process of constructing and disseminating such as"haze" and other issues in the public should not be underestimated. Public about the haze asan important channel-related information, the media in informing the public the extent of thepollution, the government released emergency measures to remind the public how goodprotection, and enhance public confidence, etc., play an irreplaceable role.In this paper,"Beijing Evening News","Yanzhao Metropolis Daily","Tianjin EveningNews" three representative urban newspapers in the haze is reported as the research object,using the method of content analysis and text analysis, to the year2013three newspapers allreported analyses haze. From the three newspapers reported that the number of haze, coverage,reporting style, reports, report layout selection of issues, and the use of the title and picturesthe quotation and other aspects of haze reported statistics and analysis. Through the analysisto summarize the overall characteristic that haze reports show, in order to grasp the media onthe issue is how to construct the haze and agenda setting. Then, combined with the analysis ofthe results suggests that problems of the urban newspapers reported in a haze, and putsforward some reasonable suggestions, and then in the new situation of environmentalprotection of our country, to promote the media more scientific, reasonable to carry outenvironmental journalism, promote social sustainable development.
