The decade(2003-2012) is to establish a scientific concept of development start-up period for China, with the development of online media, environmental pollution incidents reported more openly, also followed the introduction of the Environmental Protection Act. But in this context China’s environmental pollution is still serious, and even affect the neighboring countries as well as global climate change, which caused the foreign media attention. The " New York Times " reported that a job in the field of environmental pollution has a high reputation at the same time considerable international reputation and influence of major newspapers, has a certain research value.This article was selected from2003to2012years128copies of " New York Times " reported that the analysis of environmental pollution. The results showed that these10years of environmental pollution because of the Olympic opening media reports focused on the year2007to2008; reported mostly News category on the front page layout, showing environmental pollution reported for the United States the importance of the audience; reports from official sources as well as many ordinary people; reported by genre messages and depth of coverage based, dig deep in China’s environmental pollution situation and research; topic areas dominated by water and air pollution; tendency to mostly negative reports.On the same time," New York Times" reports concerning China, there are many Active changes, and never understand irony China’s harsh environment to seek new energy mutual win-win situation; from the reports to the government tried to cover up the truth about environmental pollution incidents reported in China on the environment for the first time treatment. Tendency toward more neutral than before; comments tend to reasonable. These results reveal the wish to involve China in academia and industry to bring about a little coverage of environmental pollution related to inspiration.
