Since2013, with the stagnation of world economy, the shrinking of international trade,and the downturn of the international shipping and shipbuilding market, all of these leading tothe result that China’s shipbuilding exports fell by more than thirty percent in the first half ofthe year, the situation of export ships is harder than ever. At the same time, Appreciation ofthe RMB is faster than before, the ship business risk increases. According to estimates, everyone percentage point appreciation of the RMB, Shipbuilding industry will lose about20billion Yuan. Therefore, in external demand atrophy, the soaring cost of case, The desirewhich Ships enterprise want to carry out the measure about how to enhance internalmanagement, reduce costs, improve efficiency is more obviously and stronger. Improving theusage ratio of steel material is to resolve a very important means of enterprise cost reduction.According to the demands of modern shipbuilding mode, the usage ratio of steel materialmust to be85percent. However it is75percent to80percent in most Chinese shipyard. Weshould tap the latent power in plate scrape creation if we want to raise the usage ratio from85%to90%. At present, the management of plate scrap in the China shipyard is still in theextensive management mode of manual bookkeeping and manual documents, lots of platescrap is lost and scrapped, it is a huge waste. So, it is an Urgent needs which usinginformation technology tools and inventory management concept to manage the plate scrapfor upgrading the reusing ratio.In this article, I have had an in-depth investigation and study in the applications of thestatus quo of China shipyard plate scrap utilization and current shipyard plate scrapesmanagement system. Then I introduce the ship plate scrape inventory management concept.According to the development of the current shipyard plate scrape management system, fromthe ideological understanding, management mode, several process itself and the inventory management ability we analyzed the deficiencies existing and the disadvantages about thesystem function of the plate scrap material management. Try to solve the situation that theprocess of the plate scrap management system is too simple, the personnel duty is not clear,the management is confused, and the remainder inventory turnover rate is slow etc.In this article, following the design principle that different materials have the similarinventory management and the different issuance management, we Re-designed anddeveloped the plate scrap management system. According to the management object,wedivided the system to several different modules and then we analyze and design the severalsub modules Including the storage, Location movement, preparation issuance, issuancemanagement and so on from the several aspects about relationship、logic processing、Implement function. Then I use the object-oriented design methods to encapsulate datamembers and functions, and then map into the appropriate database structure, for establishinga database and application systems. Finally I finish designing and developing the entiresystem.The innovation of this paper is to introduce the ship plate scrape inventory managementconcept. Specified and refined of the business processes, reduce wasting and patchingsituation, make use of the remaining material ratio from the original82%to95%, greatlyimproved the utilization of the residual feed rate, improved the remainder inventory turnoverrate, the excess stock turnover rate from the previous51days to6days, and more thanexpected inventory maintained at a stable level, thus greatly improved the managementquality and economic benefit of the shipyard. While I use WCF (Windows CommunicationFoundation) of Microsoft Service Oriented Architecture (Service-Oriented SOA Architecture)to build a new plate scrap management system. It provided a variety of service interfaces formaking the system to dock the subsystems of different structure and different technology.AndIts pluggability improved a lot.Solve the new forms of Information Island problems aboutVariety of old applications which like Vertical shaft and many heterogeneous systems fromdifferent Service Provider. And then enhance the company’s ability which how to adapt thechangeable business environment.
