Today, with the development of IT (Information Technology), China has beenestablished about50,000data centers, as well as hundreds of thousands of branchoffices, These data centers and branch offices to deploy a large number of IT devices(such as network devices, servers, equipment and storage devices, etc.), these devicestransmit data every day bear the magnitude of PB, computing and storage tasks, is anindispensable infrastructure components of the data center; Wherein the networkdevice performance has a direct impact on the performance and efficiency of theentire data center, so its importance in the data center is self-evident.In recent years, for the maintenance of the data centers and branch offices, themarket has introduced a lot of maintenance’s tools, including various types ofmonitoring software, network management software, system management softwareand process management software. Though these tools has its own unique andadvanced, but due to the function of targeted products too obvious, so have certainlimitations.This thesis is mainly for the development and application of tools for routinemaintenance inspection problems of network equipment, its main purpose is toachieve the automatic data collection device, the key value of the data andautomatically extract to form a data report for operation and maintenance personnelcheck in order to achieve the liberation of the human, to accelerate the speed andimprove the efficiency of inspection.This thesis studies the work include the following aspects:1,Analyzed and studied the significance of the maintenance of computernetworks, and the current general requirements of China’s IT service standards (ieITSS service standards) as described, delivery and operation and maintenancemanagement content and related technical issues for a more systematic study;2, Combined with my practical work in the unit’s specific situation, the status ofthe daily operation and maintenance of the network, the process is currently operatinga detailed needs analysis study; 3, Design a network maintenance inspection tool system, And describes thedesign and functionality of the software architecture of the tool, the key technology isdescribed in detail, and the system testing and analysis.Currently inspection tools described in thesis paper have been put into use inpractical work, reducing the workload of the inspection staff to speed up the operationand maintenance of equipment inspection speed and improve work efficiency.
