With the frequent occurrence of global nature disasters, world-wide financial industry iseither more or less influenced by nature disasters, which lead to business interruption or eventermination of financial industry. That poses a serious threat to the development of normalbusiness for today’s financial industry and will cause incalculable damage. How to ensurebusiness continuity has become an urgent problem of China’s even world’s financial industryto be resolved. But now there is no any domestic futures exchange to complete theconstruction of business continuity management system. How to ensure business continuityby more effective ways in the daily routine, to prevent risks, to achieve rapid response andfast recovery after business interruption has become an urgent problem of certain FinancialFutures Exchange.Goal of this paper—In order to ensure a continuous trade of futures, A certain FinancialFutures Exchange in domestic futures industry needs to establish a completely businesscontinuity management mechanism urgently, early identifies risks which may affect theoperation of Exchange, monitors changes of risks through automated management platform inthe daily routine and achieves rapid response and fast recovery after business interruption.This paper proceeds from actual demands of the Exchange, is mainly based on meeting theExchange needs and resolving the actual problem of the Exchange, researches the processwhich enterprises establish an operation and maintenance management platform based onBusiness Continuity Management from the following four aspects: situation assessment andsurvey; theoretical system establishment; system design and development; system deploymentand application.This Paper mainly completed the following contents—Analyze AS-IS and TO-BE modelof the Exchange, identify modified governance strategy for business continuity, establishbusiness continuity management system for the Exchange; Improve existing operation and maintenance process based on business continuity management system, provide systemdevelopment needs; Design and develop system architecture and workflow, implement onlinedeployment of automated operation and maintenance platform.Results and significance of the research in this paper is to establish a completely strategyand system of business continuity management in a domestic certain Financial FuturesExchange, to early identify risks which may affect the trading business, by secondarydevelopment for Maximo tools to establish IT operation and maintenance managementplatform in order to implement business continuity security work into daily system operationand maintenance work, to realize the continuity alarm mechanism of automate business andstandardization, automation rapid disposal management in order to ensure business continuity.
